Breakfast Satellite Symposium

Imaging Biomarkers
in the Era of Theranostics

Tuesday, June 24 | 6:45 - 7:45 a.m. CT

Room R02-R03, Level 2

Symposium

Overview

Imaging of Theranostic agents promises to answer key clinical questions: Is my patient a good candidate for the therapy? Is my patient likely to respond or experience radiation-induced toxicity? Is my patient responding to treatment so far? In the MIM Software Satellite Symposium at SNMMI, learn about how total tumor burden quantification and dosimetry can be practically incorporated into your clinical routine and enable you to make more informed decisions for your patients.

Advancing cardiac PET accessibility: Implementing shared cardiac PET services with Flyrcado™ (flurpiridaz F 18) injection

Mouaz Al-Mallah, MD – Houston Methodist
James Case, PhD – Cardiovascular Imaging Technologies
Gina Herrera-Lopez, CNMT, RT(CT) – Baptist Health South Florida

Implementing a shared Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) PET/CT program, healthcare institutions can position themselves at the forefront of advanced cardiac imaging while optimizing resource utilization. Previously, however, implementing a shared program was hindered by the availability of cardiac PET tracers requiring an on-site cyclotron or generator. The introduction of Flyrcado (flurpiridaz F 18) injection now provides accessibility of a unit dose cardiac PET tracer supplied from a local CMO allowing healthcare institutions to consider implementing a shared cardiac PET program without a large upfront financial commitment. This session will provide an overview of the practical considerations and clinical value of implementing a shared cardiac PET/CT MPI program with Flyrcado.
